Participating Harbours
Learn more about the harbours and vessels participating in the initiative
There are currently 15 harbours participating in the Fishing for Litter Scotland initiative: Shetland (Lerwick, Cullivoe and Scalloway), Peterhead, Fraserburgh, Eyemouth, Kirkcudbright, Troon, Campbeltown, Rothesay, Tarbert (East and West), Mallaig, Ullapool, Kinlochbervie, Stornoway and Scrabster.
A large number of Scottish fishermen are enthusiastic about improving the condition of the seabeds and wild life contained in their respective waters. The map demonstrates Fishing for Litter Scotland's geographic scope, proving that a large majority of Scotland's fishermen are very much aware of the environmental threat marine litter has for Scotland's waters and sea life.
Individual pages which include a brief description of the harbour and a list of the vessels which are currently participating in the scheme can be accessed through the interactive map below.
